It felt great to sleep in today. It felt even better to wake up next to my best friend who also happens to be my wife! We went down for breakfast in the café and talked about how lucky we are to have a place like this only 80 miles away from home. The road between Roseburg and Diamond Lake follows the North Umpqua River which offers a fantastic winding path that is a fun adventure to be able to do on a motorcycle. We headed down the river and stopped at one of the many waysides that Joni used to fish at a lot in her earlier days. Our next stop found us at Oregon Tool & Supply to say hi to all the guys & Kathy. It feels good to be back in my home town again after another fun riding adventure of over 6,000 miles this time. I figure that I’m at around 19,000 miles for this year so far and we are riding to my sister’s house in a week and a half for a birthday party for Randy and my nephews, Darryl and Travis. That will add another 1,000 miles plus. And the year still ain’t over! Stayed tuned for more adventures of Milo and the rat bike!
